Marie Plauche'-Gustin:
Artistic Director, Founder, Bere'sheet Ballet, and Clay Vessels Dance Ministry. Lifetime dancer. Seventeen years traditional dance training, ballet, modern, musical theatre. Former member of Ballet Joyeux, Louisiana. Fourteen years training and experience in liturgical/sacred dance. Producer, Director, Writer, Choreographer, Workshop leader. B.A: Louisiana State University. Post Baccalaureate student: University of Houston. Mother of four sons. Grandmother of three.

Melinda Michelle Mosley :
Eleven years dance training in liturgical/sacred dance. Original member, Clay Vessels Dance Ministry. Coordinator for The Genesis Scholarship Fund for women's healthcare issues. Musician. Singer. Choral work. Registered Massage Therapist. Medical Insurance Biller. Patient Care Advocate. Mother of two. Native Texan.

Maritza Trevino:
Transplant from New York. Lifetime dancer. Actress. Training in modern, ballet. Scholarship awardee to Alvin Ailey School of Dance. Scholarship recipient:Puerto Rican Dance Company, New York. Sacred/liturgical dance: twelve years. Singer. Worship Leader. Translator for the Hispanic community. College student, Wharton Community College. Mother of two.

Sonia Mandel-Simmons:
Transplant from New York via Bratislava, Czechoslovakia. Lifetime dancer.Performer. Actress. Training in ballet and character dance. Former trainee and instructor for Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo, New York City. Former member His Company, International, Houston.Training in liturgical/sacred dance: twelve years. Assistant ballet technician. Dance Instructor. Administrative assistant: Houston Academy of Dance.

Shelley Reiter:
Transplant from California. Three years traditional dance training. Several years training musical theatre, drama. Nine years training in liturgical/sacred dance. Signer for the deaf. Dance/movement teacher. Costumer: Design and construction. Administrative Assistant. Mother of three. Grandmother of one.


Mary Jane Engeling:
Native Texan. B.A. University of Texas, Music Education. Began studying dance at age 40. Ballet, modern, Israeli folk dance, ballroom and tap. Sacred/Liturgical dance: seventeen years. Dance Instructor, Director, Faith Lutheran DanceTeam. Music Minister, Faith Lutheran. Pianist. Piano Instructor. Costumer: Designer and Construction. Administrative Assistant. Mother of two. Grandmother of four.

Adele Ownby:
M.A., Modern Dance, University of Houston, Clear Lake. B.A. Rice University. Aerobics instructor, 23 years. Dance Instructor. Exercise instructor for pregnant women. Former member, Mahanaim Dance Company. Israeli Folk dancer. Former director, Southwest Believers' Dance Ministry. Musician. Songwriter. Educator. Work in drama, musical theatre. Choral work. Mother of four.

Jeff Lewis:
Artistic Director, choreographer and founder of Call To Glory Christian Dance and Arts, Kingwood Texas. International dance instructor, Russia, United States, Puerto Rico. Featured guest artist with many companies. Featured workshop leader: Dance Revolution. Twenty-five years dance training in ballet, lyrical, modern, jazz, tap, mime, improvisation, hip-hop, folk, musical theatre. Dance and physical education instructor. Father of eight children.

Jed Stephen Gustin:
Third son of Marie Plauche'-Gustin, artistic director of Bere'sheet Ballet. Several years training: tai-kwon-do, weight lifting. Former swimmer, soccer player. Six months sacred dance training. Natural capoeira dancer.




Richard Ownby:
Son of Adele Ownby, member of Bere'sheet Ballet. Training in baseball, football. Red Belt in Tae Kwon do. Black belt in 2004. Featured flag-bearer in The Genesis Ballet 3.





Esther Bayazitoglu:.
Granddaughter of Mary Jane Engeling, member of Bere'sheet Ballet. Has attended dance classes since the womb, and has been dancing since she could walk. Studies in Israeli folk dance, ballet, tap and sacred/liturgical dance. Artistic work also includes music, acting and dramatic parts with A.D. Players Theatre Arts Academy.
